For those who absolutely love the Samsung Galaxy J series of smartphones, then today’s news is for you. Samsung just released two new smartphones in the J series – the Galaxy J6+ and the J4+.
Both the Galaxy J4+ and Galaxy J6+ of these smartphones have a large 6-inch screen with 720p resolution with Samsung’s iconic Infinity Display that has an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. However, instead of having Super AMOLED displays like its flagship brethren, these two are using IPS LCD panels.
As for the core specs, both the Galaxy J4+ and J6+ are using Snapdragon 425 chipsets with quad Cortex-A53 processors at 1.4GHz. These two smartphones have dual-SIM support as well – and they come with dedicated SIM 1 + SIM 2 + microSD card slots. However, that is where the similarities end.
The Galaxy J4+ comes with a 13MP f/1.9 rear-facing camera and a 5MP f/2.2 selfie camera with LED flash. It also comes with 2GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage, and comes with a 3,300mAh battery.
The Galaxy J6+ on the other hand comes with a 13MP f/1.9 + 5MP f/1.9 rear-facing cameras and an 8MP f/1.9 slefie camera. It is also equipped with 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage, powered by 3,300mAh battery.
The Samsung Galaxy J4+ is available in 3 colors – black, gold, and pink with the recommended retail price of RM699.
As for the Samsung Galaxy J6+, it’s available in 3 colors as well – black, grey, and red with the recommended retail price of RM999.
