4. Park BoGum, Korean actor and Superstar

I’m pretty sure we all know what the Galaxy S9 and S9+ are capable of. We even talked about the specs back when it was announced at MWC2018 about 2 weeks ago. With the technological advances that Samsung has done with their latest generation of smartphone, it’s no surprise that this new flagship smartphone won the “Best New Connected Device” and “Best Mobile VR or AR” at MWC2018 too.

Just to refresh a little in terms of specs, the Galaxy S9 and S9+ does have a few differences. Obviously the Galaxy S9+ does have the upper-hand here with dual-OIS for both rear-cameras, 6GB RAM and a larger 3,500mAh battery. Of course, the screen is larger at 6.2-inch too.

The Galaxy S9 on the other hand only has OIS for one of the rear-camera, and comes equipped with 4GB RAM, 3,000mAh battery, and a 5.8-inch screen.

Other specs, like the Exynos 9810 chipset with octa-core processor clocked at 4x 2.7GHz + 4x 1.7GHz that are fabricated with 10nm process technology. Learn more about why process technology matters here. The aspect ratio and screen resolution remains the same, as they’ve both 18.5:9 and has a 2960×1440 resolution.

Continuing the “smartphone as a PC” direction, the brand new Galaxy S9 and S9+ are also compatible with the new generation of Samsung DeX. The new DeX Pad enables you to connect your Galaxy S9 or S9+ to a larger screen, a mouse, and a keyboard – and use it like a desktop. You can even use the Galaxy S9 and S9+ as a touchpad like a laptop when docked to the new DeX Pad.

The Galaxy S9 and S9+ will be available starting 16th March 2018 in Malaysia. Prices start from RM3,299 and goes all the way to RM4,399. As for the color availability, it depends on which configuration of specs you want for your brand new Galaxy S9 or S9+. The Titanium Gray is nowhere to be found, unfortunately.
