Seems like Samsung has sped up the release schedule for the Galaxy A series of smartphone and they’re now introducing the new Galaxy A8 (2018) and Galaxy A8+ (2018) in late December!

Personally, I already love the Galaxy A8 (2017) from earlier this year. It’s a fun phone to play with – I even experimented refraction photography with it. It doesn’t cost a lot, but it can do a lot for its price.

The brand new Galaxy A8 (2018) and Galaxy A8+ (2018) now features Samsung’s signature hardware – the Infinity Display, Samsung’s very own 18.5:9 display. It even has dual-cameras at the front, so that you can take Live Focus selfies, just like what the Galaxy Note8’s rear-camera can do. You can also learn more about dual-camera systems here.

We’ve yet to see what the Galaxy A8 (2018) and Galaxy A8+ (2018) has to offer when we hold it in our own hands, but it seems pretty promising as it still has the signature IP68 water and dust resistance. Let’s not forget, the Galaxy A-series of smartphones are meant to be within the mid-range market segment.

The brand new Galaxy A8 (2018) and Galaxy A8+ (2018) will be available in January 2018 and it’ll be available in 3 colors – black, gold, and orchid gray. You can check out Samsung’s website for more information.

We still don’t know about the price, though. We will surely update here when we know its prices.
