The game of flash drives is always funny – to have a small USB and act like a microSD card for Android phones, or have something large enough that it’s not easily lost but clunky. Both however comes with a relatively low storage capacity.

Product: 128GB SanDisk Ultra Fit USB 3.0 Flash Drive, with dime

SanDisk however is the one who said “Hey – why not we make the densest flash drive ever?”, at least I think so. In whichever way though, they’re brilliant at this – and its size is alike the new Logitech’s Unifying dongle which we showed here.

Announcing the all new SanDisk Ultra Fit, the world’s smallest USB 3.0 128GB flash drive, which also comes in 256GB flavours. Of course they’re expecting you to store a whacktonne of files inside – that’s why SanDisk also rpvoide their own SecureAccess software to keep private files safe with password protection and 128-bit encryption, and come with a year’s subscription to RescuePRO software to recover lost or corrupted files. That’s so considerate of you, SanDisk!

SanDisk claims it has transfer speeds up to 100MB/s but I’m not sure if it’s the read or write speed, or the average. Whichever it is though, SanDisk offers a 5-year warranty for it too!

The SanDisk Ultra Fit USB 3.0 flash drives are going for RM239 for the 128GB version, and RM439 for the 256GB version. Cheaper than my SSD!!!
