SanDisk, the well-known brand for memory products, launched a whole new series of memory products aimed towards creators. These products range from the the usual memory cards like SD cards and microSD cards, flash drives, and even portable SSDs with MagSafe. All of them have the same blue color motif – which I think is a very nice touch.
There are a total of 6 products launched within this series – and they are:
- SanDisk Creator Phone SSD: a tiny portable that has a MagSafe ring at the back, so we can just attach it to the back of our phones and connect with a short cable. It is available up to 2TB capacity and can go up to 1000MB/s read and 950MB/s write. Its silicone shell promises durability of up to a three-meter drop, alongside IP65 water and dust resistance. It also comes with one month of Adobe Creative Cloud for free too. The SanDisk Creator Phone SSD starts at RM699 for 1TB.
- SanDisk Creator Pro Portable SSD: Available in capacities up to 4TB, it has an NVMe SSD inside and also promises great speeds. All the capacity and speed is shrunk into the size of our palms – and it is available at RM949 for the 1TB variant.
- SanDisk Creator Desk Drive: For those who don’t want portability but need the capacity and speed, then this is the product for you. It is designed to sit on the desk permanently and delivers even faster speeds. The price is at RM2,879 for 4TB.
- SanDisk Creator Phone Drive: In an interesting, inclusive mode, SanDisk has this flash drive for those who are still using an iPhone wit a Lightning port on one side, and another USB-C on the other side. It is available up to 256GB, and the price for the 128GB version is at RM449.
- SanDisk Creator USB-C Flash Drive: As the world moves to USB-C for everything, SanDisk now has a USB-C flash drive. It has great speeds and available up to 1TB. The 256GB version is priced at RM149.
- SanDisk Creator microSD Card: It is available up to 1TB and has great speeds, promising up to 190MB/s read and 130MB/s write. It can work with cameras to capture up to 4K and 5.3K footages, and can copy the footages out quickly via the SanDisk QuickFlow microSD UHS-I Card USB-A Reader (sold separately). The price for this SanDisk Creator microSD Card starts at RM129 for 128GB.
- SanDisk Creator SD UHS-II Card: It is available up to 1TB, and can achieve up to 280MB/s read and 150MB/s write speeds. The price for the SanDisk Creator SD UHS-II Card starts at RM339 for 128GB.
The SanDisk Creator Series is now available at Sandisk Official Stores on Lazada Malaysia, Shopee Malaysia and other selected retailers.
