Shopee has finalized the numbers achieved during the 11.11 Big Sale and many new numbers are recorded for many aspects.
First and foremost, the sales department has achieved a total of 200 million items sold during the day. From the perspective of sellers, the top 3000 MSMEs made an average of RM55,000 in sales for Malaysian merchants alone, imagine the numbers that involve overseas sellers as well.
On average, all participated sellers saw 10 times more orders than an average day. For entertainment, over 20 million hours of live streams were watched on Shopee Live with in-app games being played more than 2.5 billion times.
For some quirky numbers, the highest amount of single transaction is RM70,000 made by only a single user while 560,000 snacks were sold with 20% of them being the infamous Samyang Hot Chicken noodles. For electronics, Huawei made RM1 million in sales just on its Matebook D 15 within the first 10 minutes with Xiaomi running out of stocks pretty quickly for Redmi Note 8, Mi True Wireless Earbuds, and Mi Band 4C.
