Just ahead of the Miami Grand Prix, TeamViewer announced that the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team is stepping things up by moving from TeamViewer Tensor to the newer TeamViewer ONE platform. Different from a routine upgrade, this decision is made to provide the team with tighter, real-time control over thousands of endpoints across everything from their Brackley factory all the way to the trackside garage.

In case you don’t know, during a race, a constant stream of data, from telemetry to weather to radio comms, and all of that tech needs to work flawlessly. And that’s where TeamViewer ONE shines, as it is capable of spotting and fixing issues before anyone notices them.

Specifically, the platform combines endpoint management, secure remote access, and something called Digital Employee Experience as part of its core system, and since it runs locally on devices, operations don’t just stop if connectivity dips. Additionally, the closed-loop system can detect anomalies, trigger fixes, and resolve issues thanks to the capability of pulling info from massive data sets, including 1M+ AI-driven support sessions, with hundreds of thousands added recently alone, continuously improving how it responds.

For high-stakes environments such as F1 tournaments, where there’s basically no margin for IT failure, TeamViewer expects a major shift in IT operations in terms of the professional circuit league.
