The PRO-Health Medical is a new online cashless e-medical card targeted towards people aged from 18 to 45 that allows payment to many health-related services such as ward admittance, surgical expenses, and hospitalization to keep up with consumer’s lifestyles and budget needs. Designed to be as user-friendly as possible, any user can start from the sign-up process and start applying for basic insurances for around 5 minutes while claims can be made hassle-free via Tune Protect App.
In terms of what the program does, in-patient, daycare surgery, and outpatient treatments due to illnesses and accidents are what it covers the most with additional categories such as COVID-19 included as well. With more than 150 hospitals across Malaysia accepting this platform, patients will not need to everything upfront before receiving treatment because lives are mattered more than money. Profit generated at a rate of RM6 per policy sold is contributed to Yayasan Chow Kit as a direct CSR to serve less privileged families and their children.
To prove its flexibility, any applicants that apply PRO-Health Medical as their first medical insurance or as a supplement to existing medical coverage are all welcomed with 4 plan types available that range from RM30,000 to RM150,000 according to everyone’s preference. As a unique side note, these policies do not have a Lifetime Limit therefore the Annual Limit is reinstated on a year-on-year basis.
