U Mobile’s UNLIMITED POWER Prepaid is now bundled with App-Onz – but what exactly is App-Onz? It’s quite simple – similar to their Video-Onz and their Music-Onz benefits, App-Onz offers unlimited data for social media. Yes – that’s right. Unlimited.
I mean, seriously. Who else is crazy enough to give everyone completely free data for social media apps? By the way – these includes Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter – the 3 biggest social media ever. In words of Jasmine Lee, Chief Marketing Officer of U Mobile, “UNLIMITED POWER is the real deal with no fine print and customers will enjoy the unlimited data, anytime, anywhere.” That’s insane, and it reminded me of Darth Sidius’s iconic scene with Mace Windu too.
Anyway, App-Onz is available starting today, and it’ll offer 300 minutes of free call every month to all U Mobile numbers. Existing U Mobile prepaid customers can change to their new UNLIMITED POWER Prepaid by 118623# now.
Postpaid users aren’t left out too. Hero Postpaid users for U28, P50, P70 and P98, and Broadband plans will be activated for you all in a week’s time. New users will get to enjoy it right away too.
So what do you think of App-Onz? Personally, I think it’s a little crazy for U Mobile to offer what their customers use the most for free. Seriously, everyone is on either Facebook or Twitter. Offering those for free really means that their data consumption will be nearly zero every month!
Are you excited for for this? Will you even port out of your current telco in favour of App-Onz?
