U Mobile just announced the new campaign named The Hottest Spot. Weird name aside, the company will double your hotspot data quota for free. This is applicable to only a select number of users, depending on your data plan.
For now, customers of these data plans can enjoy the double data quota:
- Prepaid
- GX30
- Postpaid
- GX50
- GX68
- Unlimited HERO P99
- Unlimited HERO P139
This is a great movement as all Malaysians are currently in a movement restriction order and encouraged to stay and work from home.
Unlimited HERO P139 and P99 customers can opt to add an S20 data-only share line for just RM20 monthly and they will get to share the double hotspot quota without even being in the same home.
For prepaid customers, they will just need to renew or activate the GX38 plan between 19 March 2020 to 31 March 2020 to enjoy double hotspot data for 30 days.
With the doubled hotspot data quota, we can share our internet with family members or housemates who need to work, game, or Netflix just to pass time. For some people, this 2-week period might be unbearable. I’m loving it, though.
The Hottest Spot is valid from 19th March 2020 to 31st March 2020.
