The education space has been pretty much the same over the past years. The consumer market has evolved drastically over a few short years with smartphones being deeply integrated with our daily lives. Now, Intel®, together with industry partner SNS Network (M) Sdn Bhd, are going to transform how we learn.
This coming 17th and 18th November 2019 from 9am to 4pm, the Seminar Technology Update (Teknologi Pendidikan Digital) will be held at Dewan Sultan Ibrahim, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia. This event is also known as UTHMSTU2019.
The event will also be officiated by our Minister of Education, YB Dr. Maszlee Bin Malik, and accompanied by relevant education ministers. SNS Network (M) Sdn Bhd’s Managing Director, Mr. Ko Yun Hung will be giving a presentation on ICT solutions.
Both Intel® and industry partner SNS Network (M) Sdn Bhd aim to show how learning can be transformed to be more interactive and effective for the students of the next generation by hosting a diverse array of activities through exhibitors’ showcases. These showcases highlight the usage of ICT solutions in schools.
Currently, it is estimated to have 200x institution representatives attending the event. These institutions range from K12, Higher Education & Technical, and also to Vocational Education and Training.
Through this 2-day event, participants will be exposed to different ICT solutions and how these solutions can help the teachers, lecturers, and coaches to further improve the teaching and learning experience in schools. As technology is already deeply integrated into everyone’s life, the next step is to transform the classrooms too.
To do that, SNS Network (M) Sdn Bhd will be introducing and demonstrating the ideal digital classroom with the JOI® Smart Classroom, presented in the JOI® Smart Truck.
The Smart School Solution that will be shown at UTHMSTU2019 is the flexibility in learning approaches for different environments and settings. As we humans are all unique from one another, a personalized learning method will drastically improve the effectiveness and motivation of how a student learns. It can also encourage more interaction and discussions to further exercise the brain. The Smart Classroom utilizes a personal computer, education software, compliant local area networks, and special access to academic websites.
There will be food trucks ready for participants’ recreation and leisure.
