Vivo, the one who pioneered the pop-up selfie camera last year during the screen-to-body ratio chase, has a brand new phone that will be available for pre-orders soon – and that is the Vivo V15. This is the non-Pro version that is already available in the market.

The pre-order of the Vivo V15 will be available from the 16th to 22nd March. That end date also happens to be Vivo’s Superday Sale which will be happening at 1 Utama Shopping Center.

Vivo V15

In terms of highlights, the Vivo V15 comes with Vivo’s iconic pop-up selfie camera and an impressive 90.95% screen-to-body ratio with its 6.53-inch display. In terms of pixels, it has a 2340×1080 in resolution. The display is protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass 5.

Like its Pro brother, the Vivo V15 also comes with a motorized pop-up 32MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. Powered with Vivo’s beautification algorithms and software magic, you’ll look like a doll when you hit the shutter button.

As for the rear-facing cameras, the Vivo V15 also has a total of 3 cameras. It has a main 12MP f/1.8 camera with PDAF, another 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide camera, and another 5MP f/2.4 depth sensor for bokeh shots. Pretty flexible in terms of getting the perfect framing for your shots.

Then comes to the core specs of the Vivo V15. It has a Mediatek Helio P70 chipset that has a Mali-G72 MP3 GPU, alongside with a total of 6GB RAM and also 128GB of internal storage. All of these are powered by a relatively big 4,000mAh battery.

In terms of design, Vivo highlighted that you can choose between a blue/black gradient or a black/red gradient instead.

The Vivo V15 will be available for pre-order starting from 16th to 22nd March exclusively on Vivo Malaysia’s online store. You will also receive a gorilla pod with phone clamp, a Bluetooth headphone, as well as a 6-month screen protection.

Vivo Malaysia has not officially announced the price yet, but we expect it be at RM1,499.

[UPDATE]: Vivo Malaysia just published the official price of the Vivo V15!

Here is the official price of the Vivo V15 – at RM1,399. For that price, I think it is quite reasonable given that the phone itself has some novelty features like the motorized pop-up camera. Plus, those pre-order gifts are really useful as well.
