World has just unveiled that the World ID Credential has been activated in Malaysia, initially rolling out for iOS users, with plans to expand support to Android devices in the future.
The World ID Credential supports remote enrollment for up to 1.2 billion passport holders, enabling participation in the World Network without needing a physical Orb.
It leverages Zero-Knowledge Proof (ZKP) technology to ensure authenticity while maintaining user anonymity and full data control. All data is stored on the user’s device securely, protecting privacy and minimizing the risk of data breaches during online interactions.
Thanks to World ID’s arrival, Malaysians can now verify their identity and uniqueness using document-based World ID Credential or Orb verification, ensuring secure and seamless digital transactions while preserving privacy.
That being said, kindly refer to this link for more details on the World ID Credential.
