Believe it or not, your Samsung Galaxy Z Flip could now do something similar like a dual-screen setup – like the ASUS Zenbook Duo where 2 sides of the screen display different content at once. The QOL (quality of life) update is called Flex mode and one of the earliest adopters for this feature is YouTube.

In case you do not already know, Samsung has been a long term partner with Google to bring exclusive and innovative ideas and designs to Samsung devices. One of the more important ones in recent years is the Rich Communications Services (RCS) in 2018 that provides feature-rich to apps like Samsung Message (More on that here).

3 modes available for the Galaxy Z Flip on Youtube

With Galaxy Z Flip’s unique folding system, you can set your Galaxy Z Flip on the table and watch your favorite YouTube channel hands-free, with the display evenly splits into 2 4-inch screens. While watching a video on the top half of the display in either 1 of 3 modes: 16:9, Square, or Vertical mode to display your content to your likings, you can use the bottom half to search for other videos, read descriptions and write comments with no distractions.

You might find this especially useful if you multitask everything in your life or just trying to watch videos in a fancy way though.

The Galaxy Z Flip certainly opened the door to creative use cases because of its fantastic form factor. and the way it folds. We also showcased how we can fold the phone halfway and use it as a tripod on its own.
