I think YouTube has heard our concerns. YouTube Live has been updated to bring a few more additional features to enhance your experience as a streamer and your audience as viewers.
Firstly, YouTube Live is now rolling out chat replay, so you can follow the conversation even when the live stream is over. This is a great feature to have, as you want to know when the live stream gets the most comments, and what comments are popping out. Great for creators, I must say.
Secondly, YouTube Live now has automatic caption for English videos. It’s automatic, and obviously done in real-time since it’s a live stream. This feature will be rolled out in coming weeks, and will be improving its accuracy and latency of automatic captions over time.
Thirdly, YouTube Live is now adding location tags for mobile live streams. Imagine you as an influencer who wants to live stream a certain restaurant. You can now add the location tag there and let your fans come and find the place. Win-win situation for both the creator and the audiences.
