We know the hype. It’s really exciting! We’re just lucky enough to get some insights before the event, and we’re sharing it with you. This is the first look of the ASUS ZenFone 3, and the ZenFone 3 Ultra. We’re bringing you an exclusive before the ZenvolutionMY event!

ASUS told us these things – the ZenFone 3 will be available for purchase on the spot during the ZenvolutionMY event. However, the ZenFone 3 Ultra will only be open for pre-orders. There’s no expected delivery date too. Bummer.
However, any purchases tomorrow will be bundled with a ASUS ZenPower 10050mAh (which we reviewed here) and “I’m Zenny” Bluetooth Selfie Stick.

Now, onward to the ZenFone 3 and ZenFone 3 Ultra first look. Let’s just say that we got lucky, and gotten our hands on the ZenFone 3 and ZenFone 3 Ultra. Of course, we did this in your favour 😛
ZenFone 3
When I first looked at it, the first impression that I got was that it’s stunning. Really magnificent design here. It’s shiny and looks appealing – no doubt. Since it has a glass sandwich design, everyone will have to be really careful while using the ZenFone 3.
Performance-wise is snappy overall, but still too early to judge. It’s a sample after all, and at the point of getting my hands on the ZenFone 3, most of the software and hardware isn’t finalized yet.
As you can see earlier in the pictures though, that camera bump on the ZenFone 3 is a little humongous to be honest. At first glance, it looks like ASUS took the Samsung Galaxy S6’s design and sprinkle some of ASUS’s design cues on it. Sad to say that the camera bump is really big though. A plus point is that at l east ASUS made a tiny lip around the camera lens, so that the lens itself wouldn’t be touching whatever surface it’s rested against.
ZenFone 3 Ultra
Let’s be honest right here. The ZenFone 3 Ultra is a phablet. An aluminium phablet actually, since the whole thing is milled out of metal. For me, I can most definitely hold it properly with one hand. Navigating with one hand though is a definite no-no.
It’s just gorgeous to look at, and more so if you consider to watch movies using the ZenFone 3 Ultra. Or maybe listen to great music, since all of the ZenFone 3 smartphones do play 25-bit/192kHz audio.
