So we’re right! The OPPO F7 is now official and it is priced at RM1,399. Guess the pricing for phones at this range are pretty predictable.
This time around, OPPO has 2 ambassadors for the F7 – Neelofa makes a return once again, and this time she’s accompanied by Hebe Tien from S.H.E. I’m sure many of us here knows who she is, since S.H.E. is a famous band after all.
In terms of specs, the OPPO F7 has a 6.2-inch 1080p IPS LCD display (2280×1080 resolution) with LTPS glass. Since the introduction of the notch display, standard aspect ratios have been thrown out the window and the OPPO F7 now has a 19:9 display.
Featuring the MediaTek Helio P60 chipset that is made with 12nm FinFET technology, it has an octa-core that features 4×2.0GHz Cortex-A73 and 4×2.0GHz Cortex-A53, coupled with Mali-G72 MP3 graphics. All of these are powered by a 3,400mAh battery.

As we’ve stated here, the OPPO F7 comes in a total of 3 colors – but the Sunrise Red is the only special edition that comes with 128GB storage and has a unique glass body that reflects light in a unique way.
As for the highlight features of the OPPO F7, it comes with a 25MP sensor with real-time HDR. It can produce a higher range of details in each image taken, and combined with AI Beauty 2.0, OPPO claims that it will have the ability to “make improved age and gender beautification effects”. The new AI Beauty 2.0 scams 296 recognition points and can now detect a person’s age, gender, skin color, and skin type. It can detect up to 4 individuals in a single image.
At the price of RM1,399 OPPO F7’s pre-order activity starts from 16th April to 18th April 2018. Users who placed orders during this period were gifted a bundle of free gifts worth RM299. Pre-orders can be made either offline at OPPO Concept Stores and OPPO Official Sales Points across Malaysia or online at the Official OPPO website and from OPPO’s e-commerce partners’ sites such as Lazada, 11Street, Shopee and others. You can head on over to Celcom, Senheng and SenQ to make the purchase too.
The first sale roadshow will take place on 21st April 2018 in Sunway Pyramid, KL. The special edition 128GB model will also be available later. We’ll keep you updated when we have more information on that.

Consumers can also visit OPPO e-commerce partners’ sites such as Lazada, 11street and Shopee or head to OPPO telco-partners’ stores (Digi and Celcom) and OPPO chain-stores’ partner stores, Senheng and senQ to pre-order.
