OPPO has been hiring lots of ambassadors for its products for quite some time now. For the upcoming OPPO F7 alone, you have Neelofa and Hebe Tien as the ambassadors. Hebe Tien, for those who don’t know, is from the Taiwanese girl group S.H.E. As the name implies, she’s the “H” in that girl group. I’m pretty sure many of us here have heard at least one song by S.H.E. Anyway, back to the phone.

ASUS ZenBook 13 UX333

The OPPO F7 is expected to have a 6.23-inch 1080p IPS LCD display with LTPS glass. Featuring the MediaTek Helio P60 chipset that is made with 12nm FinFET technology, it has an octa-core that features 4×2.0GHz Cortex-A73 and 4×2.0GHz Cortex-A53, coupled with Mali-G72 MP3 graphics. All of these are powered by a 3,400mAh battery.

As for the RAM, the OPPO F7 is expected to come in two variants – either 4GB RAM with 64GB storage, or 6GB RAM with 128GB storage.

For the cameras, the OPPO F7 comes with only a single camera at the back. A single 16MP camera with f/1.8 aperture and PDAF. As for selfies, it has a 25MP camera with f/2.0 aperture.

OPPO F7 Solar Red Moonlight Silver

It’ll be arriving to the Malaysian market this 19th April, and it’ll be available in 3 different colors – Solar Red, Moonlight Silver and Diamond Black. The last one here is indeed special.

OPPO F7 Diamond Black

For those who remember the original ASUS ZenFone 2 Deluxe with the diamond cut design, the OPPO F7 Diamond Black is something similar – but comes with less aggressive cuts. The Diamond Black features large triangular angled cuts – in other words, beautiful facet cuts.

The OPPO F7 seems like an OPPO A83 on steroids. It looks about the same in terms of shape, and definitely looks the same. Even the camera placement is the same. The main difference is that the OPPO F7 comes with a fingerprint scanner at the back, and comes in few more exciting colors. Honestly speaking, I’m looking forward for the Diamond Black variant. That diamond cut is beautiful.

We do not know the availability or price of the OPPO F7 just yet, but we’ll update here when we have more information. We’ll have to wait until 19th April, so stay tuned!

[UPDATE]: Pre-order starts 16th April

With the upcoming OPPO F7 is officially arriving next Thursday, OPPO is pushing forward by releasing some pre-order details first.

The pre-order starts from 16th April until 20th April, so I presume that the F7 will arrive some time later – perhaps the 23rd of April.

As of now, the pre-order details that we have is pretty much unusable. It’s a blind pre-order again, just like what they’ve done before. You pay RM100 to secure a unit and the not-so-mysterious gift box first, but don’t know the full price. Imagine if the OPPO F7 is totally out of your budget. How are you going to fork out the money?

OPPO F7 Pre-order Gift Box

I suggest you wait till the price is out before making the pre-order. Again, 19th April is the day. Just be patient.

Though, from all the leaks we know, it seems like the OPPO F7 will be priced at RM1,298. Take this with a grain of salt as it is unconfirmed.
