HONOR Malaysia has officially launched the HONOR X8 5G in the country today.
The 4G version of the HONOR X8 launched about 5 months ago and that carries a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 which itself is already a mid-low SoC in my opinion that is only powerful enough to power some 2D games alongside daily driving.
Despite the confusing numbering, the Snapdragon 480+ in the X8 5G actually performs better than the former model as it can provide a stable frame rate in titles like PUBG Mobile and LoL Wild Rift. So for the people that want that minor headroom in gaming while capable of utilizing a 5G connection (sooner or later), this might be worth your buck more.
Here’s what the phone’s spec looks like.
