Introducing, OPPO’s latest flagship smartphone. These are the brand new OPPO Find X2 5G series of smartphones and it is available in the base Find X2 5G and also the higher-end Find X2 Pro 5G variant.

Getting through the specs, these two phones are pretty similar.

The overall design language of the OPPO Find X2 series of smartphones is quite a big departure from what we’ve seen. The popup selfie camera is now gone and OPPO has opted for a punch hole display instead. At least OPPO parked the punch hole at the corner.

The SuperVOOC 2.0 Flash charge is an interesting technology as OPPO, the pioneer of fast charging smartphones, is now capable of supporting 65W of power on its latest Find X2 series of smartphones. Presumably, it is also using a GaN-based charger, which we’ve talked about it here.

The OPPO Find X2 is also capable of running 1440p resolution at 120Hz – which I am very concerned about when it comes to battery life. We’ve tested many phones that can’t even handle 1080p at 120Hz – and now there’s 1440p at 120Hz too?

The OPPO Find X2 will be available at these prices with these RAM and storage option:

• OPPO Find X2 @ RM3,999
  • Colors
    • Black (ceramic)
    • Ocean (glass)
  • 12GB RAM + 256GB storage

The pre-order promotion is also ongoing now as you can get the VOOC Flash Charge power bank and an extended 1-year warranty with 3 months screen protection worth. The promotional gifts can be collected at any OPPO stores in Malaysia.

Also, there will be a roadshow with additional gifts available too. On 14 March 2020 for the Find X2 5G standard version and 21 March 2020 for the Find X2 Pro 5G version, the first 300 customers to pick up their phones will receive one set of Enco Free (review here) true wireless earphones for free for both dates.

For pre-order purchases outside of the Klang Valley, head over to the selected OPPO Experience Stores and collect them at the store to be able to redeem the free gifts.
