We all saw that the Samsung Galaxy M series of smartphones that will be coming over the course of a few weeks. This is Samsung’s new series of smartphones that is aimed towards the mid-range market segment – with a price to match, hopefully.
Samsung particularly teased the Galaxy M20 here in this image and showed us all that the Galaxy M20 in particular, will be available in Malaysia as an online exclusive.
We are not sure if Samsung will be selling it via Lazada/Shopee or any other e-commerce platforms, or only on Samsung’s very own online store on their own website.
Whichever the case may be, the Galaxy M20 will have these specs:
- 6.3-inch 2340×1080 pixels in resolution with waterdrop notch
- Samsung Exynos 7904 chipset
- 2x 1.8GHz Kryo 260 Gold
- 6x 1.6GHz Kryo 260 Silver
- Mali-G71 MP2 GPU
- Dual rear-facing cameras
- 13MP f/1.9 with PDAF
- 5MP f/2.2 ultrawide angle camera
- 8MP f/2.0 selfie camera
- Up to 4GB RAM
- Up to 64GB storage
- 5,000mAh battery
- Android 8.1 Oreo with Samsung Experience 9.5
We are thinking – what is the price of the Galaxy M20? It might be somewhere around RM700 in Malaysia given that the specs are as such. It would be right up above and competing with the Realme 2 Pro, ASUS ZenFone Max Pro (M2), and also the Xiaomi Redmi Note series of smartphones – particularly the Redmi Note 7 that is coming soon.
