There’s going to be a new smartphone brand in town this month – and that brand is called Realme. They’re originally from OPPO, and now a standalone brand. They first made headlines stating that they’re coming to the Southeast Asian market. Shopee, one of the main e-commerce platforms here in Malaysia, signed an official Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today with Realme to have exclusive rights for the Realme 2Pro.
In hopes to recreate the speedy sales at India where 200,000 units were sold in 5 minutes, Realme selected Shopee as its exclusive partner to launch their flagship phone the Realme 2 Pro during the Shopee 11.11 Big Sale.

Realme’s flagship for youth, the Realme 2Pro, will be sold exclusively on Shopee 11.11 Big Sale. We first did a quick analysis on it, stating that it looks similar to the OPPO F9 but has a Snapdragon 660 chipset with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage. Pricing and further details will be revealed at the launch on 7 November, as that is the official launch date of Realme in Malaysia.
