Things are heating up in the foldable smartphone market as we now have even more flip and fold devices available today. Even so, OPPO managed to bring in a special twist of its own to differentiate itself from the other flip phones in the market today.
That big 3.6-inch cover display is surely one of the big highlights of this phone. That cover display can also be customized – like putting our own wallpaper or even custom Omoji on it – and there are also a few more widgets to be used as well.
One great feature is the inclusion of quick settings access by just swiping down from the cover display’s home screen. Then, we can also swipe up to access all of the notifications as well. Or, we can also answer calls directly from the cover display so you never miss a beat.
From the moment we touch the phone, we can immediately feel its unique texture that flows throughout the entire display. From the back to the front, even the hinge cover has a special wavy texture engrained into the metal.
Speaking of the hinge, this is one of the smoothest hinge that I’ve tried so far. It opens and closes effortlessly and has a satisfying click sound when it is closed. It is also gapless when closed, hence no dust or lint can go inside when the phone is in our pockets. It does have the ability to lock at certain angles when folding halfway too.
Oh – let’s not forget that the OPPO Find N2 Flip also has the Hasselblad branding too – because OPPO collaborated with them to bring us the magnificent cameras that are found in this phone. Moreover, OPPO also included their MariSilicon X custom ISP as well.
From our quick tests, the cameras on the Find N2 Flip is definitely magnificent. I don’t expect less from OPPO and Hasselblad, honestly.
The official price
The OPPO Find N2 Flip is in direct competition with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 (review here), and it’s surely at a competitive price too. At RM3,999, it is actually lower than the Z Flip4. Remember, we’re comparing the prices of both phones at 256GB storage.
Our review of the OPPO Find N2 Flip will come soon as well – so stay tuned. We found out a lot of things that deserves a spotlight and makes me think that the price tag is worthy.
